Buffalo artifacts

This week we were learning about some of the different Indigenous groups of Alberta. We learned that the Blackfoot nation were one of the groups that lived in the area that is now called Alberta. Though the Blackfoot people are still thriving today, we examined some of the artifacts that we important to their way of life hundreds of years ago. It was very interesting to learn that the Blackfoot people used the buffalo for many things including food, shelter, clothing, tools and toys.
