In Science we had tons of fun building catapults, and modifying them to shoot farther. We will now modify the catapults to hit targets.
In Literacy we have been using descriptive writing to describe various landscapes.
In Math we have been focusing on using multiple strategies, such as number lines and compensation, to solve 2, 3, and 4 digit subtraction equations. We have also been working on solving 2-step word problems. Students brought home a practice sheet yesterday to prepare for a quiz next week.
